What devices does Eyetell support?

Eyetell is currently limited to iPads with an Apple TrueDepth camera. This camera is found in iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (iOS 12 or later) The supported iPads can be referred to as the ones without a “home button”, or as the ones with “Face ID”.

Does it work if I wear glasses?

Our software only uses a regular camera without the need for infrared light as current eye tracers do. By using this, we’re always ready to detect your eye, no matter sunlight, glasses, contact lenses or your pupils colour.

How do I download the app?

You simple go to the Apple App Store on your iPad and type in “Eyetell” and download it.

How should the iPad be placed?

Place the iPad in front of you at the same height as your face. The distance should be estimated by your comfort, but no further than one meter. We recommend to get a stand to keep the iPad stil

I’m looking at the right letter, but it keeps choosing the letter next to it. What’s wrong?

Make sure you are only moving your eyes and try to keep your head still. In the problem keeps happening, try to restart the app or adjust the position of the iPad

Do I need access to the internet for Eyetell to work?

No, Eyetell does not need access to the internet to work, which makes it perfect for on-the-go communication.
